The route to a full motorcycle licence aged 21 and over

**NEWS FLASH - THE NEW MOTORCYCLE TEST HAS NOW BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 30th MARCH 2009**

Prior to attending the Direct Access course you will need to have passed the motorcycle theory test. Please call 0300 200 1122 to book your theory test at the location of your choice, or book on line using this link to access the Directgov website.In preparation for your test just register with DSA and take this free practice test! Once you have passed the theory test and completed a CBT you can go on to do DAS.

Direct Access means you take your test on a bike of 46.6bhp, normally a 500 or 600cc bike. When passed this allows you to ride a bike of any engine size.

This type of tuition is conducted over 3-5 days in which you will undertake training & practical riding on a 125cc & 500cc motorcycle. The final part of the course will be a practical test at a local test centre.

Passing your test means you can then go on to ride any bike.

You will need to bring:

• Driving Licence - Both plastic & paper parts, or if you have the old style paper licence you will also need photo ID - a passport would be fine.
• Theory Test certificate
• Suitable clothing and footwear (Helmets, Gloves an Waterproofs are provided)
• A snack each day - or cash for refreshments!
